What standards and certifications are
What it is

A company saying its own technology is safe and many countries and international bodies agreeing that the method is right carry entirely different weight. Standards and certifications exist precisely to supply that second kind of trust.

Standard

A common rule that many countries agreed on together — a shared answer sheet saying that building it this way is safe and interoperable. The Wi-Fi and mobile networks you use every day run on standards just like these.

Certification

A pass certificate issued by an independent body after testing whether a product genuinely follows a standard. Government, public sector and financial buyers ask for it most often.

Why it matters

Standards adoption and international certification are verification by third parties and international bodies, not claims by a company. That removes most of the burden of assessing the technology yourself.
